Joseph & Sola Thompson

Joseph and Sola Thompson have decades of experience in taking care of people. Originally from Nigeria, they have lived in the UK and in a number of different states here in the USA. As a pastor at a large church in Central Florida, Joseph knows what it means to sit with and walk alongside people going through difficult seasons. Sola's  extensive background in administration includes Human Resources, payroll, bookkeeping, client and office management. She is skilled at managing people and systems.

Even more significant than their experience, their single best qualification in running Rehoboth Home Care is their passion for people. They are involved in every step of the client care process, to ensure that you receive the best quality service.

Rehoboth means "open spaces" and at Rehoboth Home Care, we're making space (room) for you!

We aim to provide one-on-one attention and care that cannot compare in other settings.

The Story Behind The Name

Sola and Joseph moved to Central Florida almost seventeen years ago in obedience to what they knew was a leading from God and they have continued to faithfully serve the many communities that they have been a part of. They have been privileged to see tremendous life change over the years, and are motivated to invest even more in their community. They are committed to living a faith-based lifestyle which enjoins them to love and take care of people. To this end, they prayerfully and thoughtfully considered their company name, mission, and values.

The name Rehoboth is taken from a story in the Book of Genesis from the Bible:

Isaac moved on and dug another well. This time there was no dispute over it, so Isaac named the place Rehoboth (which means “open space”), for he said, “At last the LORD has created enough space for us to prosper in this land.” - Genesis 26:22 (NLT)

Isaac building wells to benefit the communities he was serving was a story that Sola and Joseph clearly identified with, as it resonates deeply with them in so many ways. They are strongly persuaded that God has invited them to hold space for people in the Central Florida region whose dignity they are called to preserve, by serving them through home health care in their season of need. At the same time they are meeting an ever-present need for good quality, compassionate and reputable service in the home care industry.
