ABC’s of RHC (part 3)

Ever wondered what some of the lingo we bandy about in the Home Care/Home Health space means? Well, here’s a list, A-Z of some of our terms, including one or two that are specific to us at RHC, and what they mean. Hope it helps!

Respite Care:  Service that provides care and companionship for loved ones while their family caregiver takes a break for some personal time

Skilled Care: This involves services provided by professional medical personnel such as nurses and therapists, typically ordered by a physician. At RHC, we provide non-medical, non-skilled services but that doesn’t mean we don’t have skills

Training: Our caregivers are well-trained and equipped to deliver quality care. We provide ongoing training as needed, under the supervision of our Registered Nurse (RN)

Uncompromising:  In an industry where there are lots of options, we strive to stand out by operating with integrity

Value: What we seek to add to our client’s lives

W2: Our caregivers are W2 employees, not independent contractors. Because they represent us to the client, we are invested in their wellbeing and success

eXceptional:  The kind of service we aim to deliver, Every. Single. Time

Yes: The reaction we hope to get from you, hopefully with an exclamation mark. Fist pump optional!

Zone 7: The Central Florida region we are licensed to serve, spanning 4 counties namely Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Brevard
